V-300E in 11″ and 8 1/2″ widths are the same great product as regular V-300 but with an added Enhanced Snow Screen™ to prevent fine snow from entering the ridge vent.
The V-300 product line is our lowest profile ridge vent line. It works equally well under shingles as well as shakes or slate roofing. V-300E products are ideal for hip use. The low profile make the hip vent blend in with the roof. If you are looking for a low profile ridge vent that still provides plenty of ventilation our V-300 product line is your answer.

Vari-Pitch Adjustable Vents: Lomanco makes it fit – whatever the pitch.
Years ago, with the ingenious invention of the adjustable gable louver, Lomanco was born.
All Lomanco Vari-Pitch Adjustable Louvers are constructed entirely of heavy gauge aluminum. Units are completely assembled, ready to install.
To determine the size needed, just measure down along the roofline from the peak of the roof to the frame. The appropriate size louver will adjust to the opening in seconds, and can be installed securely in minutes.
The intake system must provide as much as or more than the exhaust system in Net Free Area.
Inadequate intake is the #1 cause of attic ventilation system failure. Specifically, inadequate intake results in extreme heat buildup in the summer and severe weather infiltration and moisture problems in the winter.
Proper vent chutes should be installed before blown-in insulation to prevent choking your intake system. A good rule of thumb is to place one between each set of rafter tails in order to maximize intake air.
If maintenance free vinyl/metal under eave panels are used, the vented panels should be installed continuously around the under eave portion of the house.
If the under eave width prohibits the use of cornice or strip vents—never use an exhaust louver as an intake vent. The most logical solution would be to install SV-10.
The 105 Continuous Soffit Vent, SV-10 Starter Vent, and CV-4 Cirk-L-Vents are also available in copper.
